CE Certification SB Bevel Electric Gear Operator Gearbox Suppliers, Factory

SB series multi-turn gear operators This gear operator series is made of cast steel and the optional material is HT. Bronze, D2 and QT nuts are available to fit in with the valve stem. This series is suitable for use on linear-motion valves including gate valves and globe valves, with the single-stage speed ratio varying from 2.3:1 to 8:1 and the torque from 216NM to 6800NM. Products can be used for gate valve, stop valve and other linear movement of the valve, widely used in chemical, food and beverage, metallurgy, offshore platform, pharmaceutical, energy, oil and gas, paper and textile, fire, water conservancy and other industries.

Product Description

The flange of the input end of the gearbox is connected to the electric actuator, the input shaft is connected to the hole of the electric actuator, and the flange bolt is installed and tightened. Connect the bottom flange of the gear operator to the upper flange of the valve and slide the valve shaft into the drive nut. Tighten the flange bolt. The valve can be closed by turning the hand-wheel clockwise and opened by turning the hand-wheel counterclockwise.

Operational Conditions & Technical Notes
  • Protection Grades: Standard factory configurations meet IP65 and IP67 protection levels (inside the gearbox only, in accordance with EN60529/IEC529 and GB/T4208 standards). IP65/IP67 is optimized for standard environments, while the IP68 configuration is suitable for water depths up to 1 meter for a duration of no more than 72 hours. Specific environmental requirements must be finalized in the contract stage.
  • Temperature and Sealing: The standard operating temperature range is -20℃ to 120℃ using NBR (butadiene rubber) seals or liquid sealant. For extreme low or high-temperature requirements, specialized seals will be provided based on specific working conditions, which should be explicitly detailed in the contract.
  • Maintenance Warning: Do not remove the cover or other integrated components of the gearbox after delivery. Disassembly will compromise the seals, resulting in potential leakage and voiding performance integrity.
Installation & Customization Instructions
  1. A spline connection is utilized to properly connect the driving component with the bevel gear.
  2. Customers have the flexibility to process the reserved position to align with actual site working conditions.
  3. For any other bespoke requirements, please consult with the sales department.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q How is the valve operated manually using the hand-wheel?
The valve can be easily closed by turning the hand-wheel in a clockwise direction, and opened by turning the hand-wheel counterclockwise.
Q What is the difference between IP65/IP67 and IP68 protection grades?
Standard units come with internal protection ratings of IP65 and IP67. The upgraded IP68 configuration is designed for immersion in water depths up to 1 meter for no more than 72 hours.
Q What are the standard operating temperatures for these gearboxes?
The standard operating temperature range is -20℃ to 120℃. Special seals can be configured for environments that fall outside of this temperature range.
Q Can the gearbox cover be removed for field adjustments?
No, the gearbox cover and other pre-assembled components must not be removed by the customer, as doing so will damage the seals and cause lubricant leakage.
Q How is the driving part connected to the bevel gear?
A robust spline connection is utilized to secure the link between the driving part and the bevel gear.
Q Can I customize the reserved installation position?
Yes, customers can process the reserved position to meet their specific field requirements and system setups.
