Denmark is at the absolute forefront of the global energy transition and smart municipal engineering. With world-leading projects in District Heating (Fjernvarme), offshore wind substations, maritime technology, and wastewater purification, the operational expectations for valve automation are extraordinary. Industrial systems must operate without interruption, requiring robust fallback systems.
For these demanding systems, our Aluminium Alloy Declutchable Gearboxes provide the crucial manual override interface between pneumatic actuators and quarter-turn valves. When control lines lose pressure or electrical systems fail, these gearboxes allow operators to override automation smoothly. Lightweight aluminium construction prevents structural loading issues on piping systems while offering high yield strength and exceptional corrosion resistance.
Our declutchable operators are engineered with finite element analysis (FEA) and dynamic stress profiling. The body is cast from high-grade, lightweight aluminum alloy, treated to prevent oxidation. Internally, a carbon steel or ductile iron worm gear pairs with a hardened steel worm shaft, assuring minimum mechanical wear over decades of service.
Our safety-interlock clutch mechanism eliminates manual-automatic operational conflicts. By turning the declutch lever, the worm gear rotates into mesh with the main segment gear, disconnecting pneumatic control force. Returning the lever returns the system to automated control instantly.
To withstand extreme environments such as the Jutland coast or North Sea platforms, we offer customized coating options including epoxy coatings and polyurethane finishes up to C5-M marine grade.

Located in the Yangtze River Delta, our state-of-the-art facility utilizes digital production tracking to deliver global-grade gear operators on short lead times.
Founded in 1999, our plant covers 8,900 m² with an additional 2,500 m² modern engineering office. Backed by local supply chains in the Yangtze River Delta, we source high-quality raw castings and mechanical components with unparalleled efficiency. This allows us to keep delivery times short while holding tolerances tight.
With an annual sales volume of $7,000,000 to $9,000,000 and consistent year-on-year growth of 10% to 20%, we invest heavily back into our testing equipment, dynamic simulators, and CNC machining centers. Every gearbox is cataloged within our comprehensive ERP system, allowing us to trace the production process from raw material heat-numbers to final torque verification.

100% testing of all gear operators ensures structural reliability and rated output torque for automated control loops in Denmark.
Our quality assurance protocol includes testing chemical composition, checking mechanical properties, and performing pressure/torque tests on our advanced testing benches. Dedicated QA inspectors monitor every stage of production from raw castings to final paint coat.
We perform lifecycle testing to simulate years of field operation, along with destructive burst torque testing to verify that our products exceed standard safety margins. This guarantees that every declutchable gearbox delivers the exact torque required for emergency line isolation.

We maintain dynamic test setups to check backlash, housing alignment, and seal integrity. These procedures confirm that our gearboxes comply with CE standards, allowing them to integrate into demanding automated systems across Europe.

We understand that Danish industrial purchasers operate under strict European compliance frameworks. Our manufacturing processes conform with CE directives and ISO 9001 quality management standards. For installations in hazardous areas, such as offshore platforms or petrochemical facilities, we supply gearboxes with ATEX certification to guarantee explosion protection.
Additionally, we provide complete technical documentation with our shipments, including EN 10204 3.1 material test certificates, dimension drawings, and torque test logs. This comprehensive data makes it straightforward for Danish engineering consultants and system integrators to review and approve our products.
Find technical answers about selecting, configuring, and maintaining aluminium alloy declutchable gearboxes.
Aluminium alloy significantly reduces overall valve assembly weight, which helps prevent piping stress on vessels and offshore structures. When anodized or epoxy-coated, marine-grade aluminium forms a tough protective layer against saltwater corrosion. This ensures long-term reliability and low maintenance in North Sea marine applications.
Our declutchable gearboxes use an eccentric cam clutch design. Engaging the manual override meshes the worm gear and disconnects the automatic control force. Disengaging it safely returns control to the pneumatic actuator. Built-in safety interlock pins prevent simultaneous operation, protecting both the actuator and the gearbox from torque overloads.
Yes. Our gearboxes are designed with ISO 5211 output and input flanges. This standard interface allows direct mounting to most quarter-turn actuators and valves, including ISO, DIN, and ANSI standard units, without needing custom brackets or drive adapters.
We provide comprehensive documentation packages for municipal and state projects, including EN 10204 3.1 material certificates, CE declarations of conformity, IP rating certificates, and individual torque testing reports from our factory.
